A client has a laptop with a built-in video card. Even with an external display connected, the device appears to boot but produces no video. What can you do to make this right?

If the integrated video card fails, you'll need to replace the motherboard. Some laptops do feature a video card that may be replaced. If it fails or you decide to upgrade it, the process will most likely be similar to replacing system RAM.
