What information is required to connect to a computer via Remote Desktop?

To connect, all you need is the name of the device you're connected to, but some procedures must have already happened first. If you're connecting by smartphone, Remote Desktop Mobile must be installed on the smartphone, and Remote Desktop must be enabled on the targeted PC. When Remote Desktop was enabled on that PC, you would simply launch the program on your smartphone and type the name that appears under "How to connect to this PC."
