What is NOT true about jailbreaking a device?

A Jailbreaking is a safe way to get more out of your device.

Although jailbreaking gives you more control over your device, it is not always secure or permitted. Because Apple devices are more locked down (closed-source) than Android (open source), they are the ones that are jailbroken the most frequently. For instance, installing apps that are not approved by Apple is possible after jailbreaking an iPhone. By acquiring root access or cracking software, you might give yourself additional access to the device, which also makes it easier for cybercriminals to perpetrate an attack on it. Additionally, jailbreaking voids your device's warranty. The device might become unstable, and since the warranty is void, you won't likely get help correcting issues. Depending on where you are in the world, jailbreaking may be illegal.
