What is the name of the icon bar that runs along the bottom of the screen and allows you to open apps on a macOS-run MacBook Pro?

A bar of icons called the Dock can be found at the bottom (or side, depending on the configuration) of your screen in macOS. It offers quick access to important Mac-built applications like Safari, Mail, Videos, and Music as well as those that you add there. With Remote Disc, Macs without optical drives can use the optical drive of another computer across a network.
