A USB-C port looks exactly like a Lightning port. For legacy hard drives, a 4-pin power connector called a Molex connector is used. For fiber-optic connections, the subscriber connector (SC) and Lucent connector (LC) are used. LC connectors are about half the size of SC connectors. They both have a square housing. The SC and the LC use a small locking tab and a locking latch to hold it in place, respectively.
