Where can you reconfigure your computer so that the specific programs will not automatically start when the computer boots up?

Use the Startup tab of Task Manager to stop (disable) apps from running on startup. In previous versions of Windows, the System Configuration utility was the place to go, but it now only contains a link to Task Manager. Services, not applications, are programs that run in the background and are part of the operating system. A subset of them can be configured on Task Manager's Services tab, or all services can be accessible via the Services console (services.msc). Task Scheduler is used to do some action(s) automatically when a trigger, such as a date, time, or other event, occurs.
