If the computer was fine yesterday but slow today, it may have been attacked by malware. Background-running malware is known for consuming system resources. You should first follow the malware removal process. If malware is not detected on your system, proceed to the Task Manager's Processes tab. To sort the list by how much memory each program is consuming, click Memory at the top of the tab. It can be unnecessary software launched at startup or another program that doesn't need to run constantly. Take appropriate action depending on what you discover there.
